Maya Moore Cracks UConn Top 10 Scorers

Just midway through her junior year in Storrs, Maya Moore has entered the top 10 all-time Husky scorers list. She now has 1,680 points in two and a half years. Three Olympic gold medalists are ahead of her, including two-time Olympic gold medalist Diana Taurasi at No. 3 with 2,156 points, as is senior Tina Charles. Moore needs just 498 points to tie UConn's all-time leader Nykesha Sales and if she keeps up this pace, that should happen well before the end of next season.
