The Butler Did It!

Featuring two members of USA Basketball's U19 World Championship Team that captured the gold medal last summer, Gordan Hayward and Shelvin Mack, Butler stunned USA National Team assistant coach Jim Boeheim and his Syracuse squad to advance to the Elite Eight for the first time in school history. Butler, a 5 seed, took out the top seeded Orange 63-59, busting even more brackets around the country. Although Lynn Zinser in the NY Times asks if upsets like this can really be deemed an upset anymore.
